Breastfeeding

Wah. Reading dayre posts of other mums w newborns reminded me of breastfeeding in the first few weeks.

And I should warn myself for the next baby man. In case mamabrain strikes. Lolol.

Sore boobies and sore vjjs at the same time is no joke man. I think I already forgot the extent of the pain liao... But I remember needing that donut pillow. And how I really dreading putting on clothes. Hahahahah. Remember cursing and thinking. Wah. Fking pain. Hahaha. And I am usually very unvulgar one hor. So .. it was really veryyyyy bad.

I think I musta been severely brainwashed. And totally insisted on fully latching and ignoring the pump and FM. For once I never kiasu and give FM since I already paid for it. Lol. And also spent so much money on lactation cookies and whatnot!!

On hindsighttt... I guess I don't regret it at all la. I feel like this is one thing that eases my mumguilt somehow. And yay that #dcyw is a fatty! Thank you darling for making mama happy by growing fat fat and well well. Heeheheeeee!

Srsly the fb group brainwashed me la. So much so that I dunno if I tortured myself or all that was reasonable. Wahahaha. Since everyone also pain right?

But I guess my obsession over supply was my own downfall la. Like quite obvious my supply was ok. But I still kept eating all the so called boosters. Halo. Pls dun so extra next time. Just be normal. One at a time and hydration!!!

So really must rmb the damn abscess. Gah. I think I was really really worried once I felt the block? But wasn't great at clearing and thr LC also couldn't tell. Argghhggh. Did I have a fever and forgot about it?? I REALLY DONT RMB. I rmb watching a lot of netflix lolololollll.

I guess all babies are different. And I never did use FM so I wouldn't know for sure. But I should rmb that for my next baby... FM wun die one la. But as long as I dun get this lame ass block shit... it'll hopefully not be as challenging??!!

And I should also rmb that lecithin is awesome. No idea if it helps that much but seriously, its such a low value item to pay for for a peace of mind. Lololol.

And once again. That damn abscess. Besides the money (curses.. all my FM savings!! Even if its 20%... still.. curses!!!) All the worry over pus in milk and pumping and latching on one side. Not worth it man!!! Curseeeee!!!

Anw. I guess latching is the best for a lazy mum (: for the next baby I should struggle on I feel. Because washing bottles is a PITA. Lololol.

Oh yeahhh!!! I wanted to talk about why I chose to BF! I seriously think it's because of the damn FB group. Hahahaha. I GUESS it turned out all well and dandy so yayyy. But if it didnt turn out well... I probably would be in the #mumguilt maximus state. But now that it's ok... I must mention the side benefits for me now. Heehee. Burning extra calories and allowing me to be normal shaped faster without any exercise. And also BBT all day err day. And probably the delayed period (hmm issit good hur loll). Big boobs for a while (but honestly it became a pain). Lolll. And still wanna anyhow spend money to buy sports bra now cuz comffyyy!

At the start.. I guess I just wanted to give BM cuz Breast is Best right? And bonding is good la... and also hopefully #dcyw knows my stinkysmell better. Wahahaha. And hopefully it makes him smarter? And also... FREE!!!

After coming back to work... I think it gives me a chance to be alone w my babyy. I know.. this is a first world problem... but still. He is MINE hor. Lolol. #possessive. He can like you a lot. But I must be his first love ok! Hahahhaha. Anw, my body working hard for him okkk.

Other benefits... probably would be... making me eat a little healthier? And reminding myself to take care of my diet and water intake. Not too bad la. (:

I think that now that I'm back at work... the downsides are probably pumping related. But tbh... I think I can live with it.

Wahahahaha. Lets just hope this doesn't affect my chances of conceiving? And onwarddd to the 1year goalll! Chiong ah. (:
