uhhuhhh!
i uploaded some photos on fb! (: proud of myself lalala.
current happiness level is remaining very high. (even though im semi-withdrawal-symptom-ing from taiwan) but it was a short trip so it isnt that bad.
JW! doh i dun think u will visit again in near future, i think we make good roommates! :D we're rather complementary in our habits me thinks! and im actually super amused by your happy-morning-state.
and im quite glad there werent any quarrels on the trip! HAHA.
i have a perpetual fear that travelling=arguments :S
ok.. gotta give a short rundown of how the trip went!
day 1: xi men ding
after the flight i guess we were quite shagged and hungry. so we stuffed our faces.
and concluded that some of us just wun eat chou dou fu! lol.
did minor shopping. (none at all for me actually hmmm)
day 2: travelled out to taroko (near hualian)
taroko was a massive bunch of walking and walking and walking.
but had yay guan cai ban! (:
and bubble tea shop with limited pearls... (and therefore not all of us got a drink cuz they ran out of pearls!)
yay food!
day 3: travelled out to farm at yilan
amazingly spent 4 hours on the farm. (and got condemned by the locals cuz we werent supposed to take THATTT long)
made a useless pen. O_O
had quite amusing night events. aldoh that includes getting injuries from bian pao. laughing at gs + jw having to do retarded stuff to represent singapore. and got a free tuo luo! :DDD YAY!
only normal meal actually! :SSS
day 4: back to taipei. (glanced at taipei 101 HAHA) jiu fen + kee lung+ miao kou ye shi
spent super alot of money on food in jiu fen.
and peng dao gan die number 1. O_O got so qiao anot. hahaha!
indulged in grande no classic syrup soy green tea latte (which was okay-okay)
spent more money in the ye shi! not alot of buys. but shoooess! (:
day 5: themepark + karaoked + continued shopping on the random road (a little)!
was an irritating rainy day.
plus most exciting ride wasnt open. KNS.
but was still good!
went to qian gui for karaoke. a little short. but cheap considering we had food!
and the system is kinda hard to use. ): and they dun have some songs!!
i was DYING to sing a jolin old song but they didnt have it. super annoyed. grr!
in between we did spy some roadside stalls. dun remember any buys though!
day 6: national palace museum + dan shui + shi lin ye shi!
(sent out postcards! YAY. excited. i wonder who will receive it first. HMM. oh well! HAHA. )
very amazed by all the historical stuff! once again made me wish singapore had a more exciting history.
amazed by handwriting and borders (not so much by pottery yucks)
and xiao bai cai jade and *DINGDINGDING* meaty rock! :D
shopped alot in dan shui. but got sian diaoed by the rain. :(((
had a huge green tea icecream doh. YAY!
so kinda got zzz-ed in the end by the rain and moved off to shilin area. (hoping that rain wasnt so heavy there)
still rained in shilin area. but at least it wasnt POURING.
so shopped and shopped.
had a normal chicken and a legendary chicken. but i conclude i think singapore's best! :DD because im lazy and i hate bones and their chilli isnt spicy enough. BOO.
went back kinda late! LAST TRAIN! (: i like! hehheh.
day 7: zhong zheng ji nian tang + sun yat san memorial hall + random(rao he?) ye shi!
wasnt so impressed by the memorial halls.
i mean it was exciting with alot of relics. but i know NUTS about their history and what they did exactly. cant really appreciate it. i mean its specific peopleeee.
(now, if that was kim blabla... i probably would be excited x100)
was a rather more lazy day.
had tauhuay (and i concluded singapore is better again... as in more suitable to my tastebuds)
bubble tea galore. cong you bing. had my taiwan xiang chang etcetc. shoppped somemore!! YAY us!
day 8: more shopping around our area! and back to singapore!
severely running out of money already. so it was kinda tong ku. in the end.... i busted my budget by 24bucks. (i know that isnt really alot. but. still. im annoyed by my lack of discipline in sticking to my budget. GAH. yucks) bought 2 random tops and a cool hair thing and some bangles. (totally remember what i busted my budget for! GRR)
and we had our delayed flight back to singapore....
hmm. talked almost non-stop with jn on the way back and got condemned by our neighbouring ah-pek. OOPS. hope he doesnt hate us... :S
ok that was a lousy short summary. but. oh well! :DD i know photos would do the job better... so.. lets await the photos uploaded by friends. HAHAHA.
