FEAR
gut-wrenching, irrational, pee-in-your-pants fear.
ok. i know we all have perpetual fears, like fear of not doing well enough in life, regrets or even ,morbidly, of death. but ok. not intending to delve into it. dun wanna start thinking more about it.
but anw, was randomly thinking about fear and the little bursts of fear that i had to endure these past few days. X_X
one random day, that i can't remember which. i was actually adventurous and took an unknown bus... it kinda stopped at the kallang bus terminal. WELL. i was the only passenger left and i didn't really recognise the area at first... so... thoughts of: the bus driver is actually going to kidnap me was running through my mind. >< ok. yes childish. but i was actually quite scared. EEPS!!
and anyway, when i alighted, that freaking place was so dark la! the only thing that kept me un-afraid was that at least i knew where i was.
hmm. and a few days ago, when i was on the last bus to boonkeng area so i could chiong the last 23 to tampines, i kinda OVERSLEPT. my goodness, when i woke up i was in yet another unknown area. i totally thought i was going to be lost. [and it so did not help that my wallet was empty and my handphone had no batt.] LUCKY for me, it was actually just some intermediate stop before where i was supposed to alight and in the dark i didn't recognise the place. PHEW...
well. once that day when i was riding alone at night.. i kinda swerved a little into a car. and... it was the PIE exit near my place. lost abit of balance, didn't fall but screechy noises and everything.. almost got knocked down.... well, in that instant i was worried that i'll get knocked down and was quite... say.. freaked out? totally fearful that i'll die. but yup, i didn't even get knock down la. but the driver gave me a horrible "please take care of yourself or just don't cycle on the road" short talk when we stopped side by side at the next traffic junction. OOPS. tired maaaa. but ya. AT THAT INSTANT, omg... TOTAL FEAR OF DEATH..
and this is a rather stupid sounding event but yes. HAHA..
last night when i had to use toilet rather urgently, kinda had no choice but to go to this weird eerie toilet. X_X walked down a very desolated path. X_X with these rather random walkways and stairways with rusted gates and very useless looking locks. OMG.. ok, ghostly ah. X_X and anyway, was quite worried there'll be rats and COCKROACHES running out as well. HMMM.
yup, getting to the LIFT LOBBY to take a lift to B1 for the toilet was bad enough. it felt FREAKING CREEPY already. ok. toilet was normal. just had weird bugs.
and when we were waiting for the lift back up to level 1... the "up" button spoiled. so.. the lift didn't come.. for about 5 minutes? so ok. IMPATIENT. decided to take the stairs instead...
soo... we got to the stairs.... pushed open the door and everything. and when we got into the stairway-lobby.. we realised that: NO LIGHTS for this crreeeeepy flight of damn dark stairs and the stairway did not lead directly to an exit. so, it was just this flight of damn long stairs thats damn dark and cannot see the end.
OK. so FREAKKY [plus i already freaked myself out on the way to the toilet you see...] and so, wanted to go back to take the lift.
WELL DONE TO US. the door was LOCKED on one side. SO... TRAPPED. OMGOMGOMG.... i was ready to pee in my pants[although i just visited the ladies]DAMN TRAUMATISED. and it didn't help that the person with me wasn't someone i really knew. X_X OMG. but thank goodness the person had a PHONE and there was RECEPTION. so we got someone to come and save us. PHEW.
the place we were trapped was freaky ok. like no air. and there was vandalised walls. which had the picture of the long tongue deity or something. from the 18th levels of hell series.
anyway, yes. SCARED SHITLESS. [of ghosts and entrapment...]
last random fear-ful event..
which happened just now anyway.
i was on the bus, reading [(:] and totally NORMAL.
and suddenly, i saw movement and black thing on my left side, which was the window since i had a window seat.
LIKE OMG. COCKROACH.
BLOODY FLYING COCKROACH.
DAMN BLOODY BIG FLYING COCKROACH. DAMN BLACK AND CAN SEE ITS UNDERNEATH BROWN.
OMGOMOMGOMG. [in case you haven't realised, IM DAMN AFRAID OF COCKROACHES. damn damn damn. like super duper uber.]
ok, so i did this rather embarrassing thing.. i POUNCED on the guy sitting next to me and shrieked, "HELP!!! let me get out of here!!!". ok.
he kinda told me to relax and then moved away so i could run away. ok, usually a normal person would just move to a nearby seat and just settle down again right. but of cause i ran damn far away. =D
anyway, the cockroach just moved in the SAME DIRECTION AS ME. BLOODY HELL. i was running again.. and the poor guy decided to try to kill the cockroach cause i was kinda hiding behind him. HAHA.
anyway, the cockroach ran damn far away, so i just decided to go to level 1 of the bus. so i hurriedly said "thanks" to the poor guy and ran off. WTH lor, before i could get down, this rather old couple got onto level 2. saw the cockroach and flicked it onto the floor. SO. erm. i kinda DIED. and just huddled into a seat and watched the cockroach go down level 1. OMG. dieeeee. and the guy who WAS sitting next to me was kinda laughing at me. [not the rest of the bus though. not very crowded and the other girls were shrieking themselves ANYWAY. HAHAHA.]
LUCKILY, i had to alight... [and so did the random guy...] so i kinda crouched and hid behind him down the stairs to level 1 and just ran off the bus. i said thanks again to the guy though.
